AUSTRALIAN FARMERS

(Received 13th January, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, 12th January,

A,party of 77 farmers representative of the whole of the agricultural interests of Victoria arived in Sydney to-day by the Mariposa en route to New Zealand on Saturday. They met leading representatives in New South Wales of agricultural interests abroad. At a luncheon the speakers expressed the view that New Zealand farmers could teach the farmers of Australia a very great deal on many aspects of agricultural production, especially in meeting demands for overseas markets. Mr. L. G. Schmitt, the New Zealand Government Commissioner in Australia, was among the guests.
