FASCISM WILL LIVE
MUSSOLINI'S CLAIMS
EPOCH IN ITALIAN HISTORY i
SPIRIT OF THE STATE
United Press Association—By Electric Tele- . graph—Copyright. LONDON, 27th October. la an article in the "Daily Telegraph" on "Ten Years of Fascism," Signor Mussolini says: "The Fascist regime is not satisfied with the mere making of Jaws, but has a deeper responsibility. It has permeated the life of the people and created an epoch in Italian history the influence of which will be felt by succeeding generations." If he wanted to make a moral budget, he said, it would be sufficient to point to the increase in wheat production by! 75,151,000 quintals, thus raising the yield* from 4 to 6 quintals an acre. "We could say that we have made Italy almost independent of foreign wheat," he continues. "We could enumerate vast public works and great i reforms. We have no strikes, but have a producing and industrious working class. | "There is not a single State in the whole world which can point to an equal achievement in all of the 'State's activities. Fascism is destined to live. It is a living spirit like the spirits of Cromwell and of Washington."
