The husband was, however, sentenced to a long term of imprisonment for manslaughter, which was recently commuted' on account of his good behaviour. On Friday Becker' called at Boes's consulting room and shot the doctor with a revolver. He escaped without anyone identifying him or even suspecting him of murder. Becker went straight Ao the station and entrained for Duisberg, where Buchh'olz, who was married recently, resided. He rang t^ie bell and Buchholz happened to open the door.
