Mr. W. C. Davies, curator of the Cawthron Institute, Nelson, will delivera lecture on "Photography in. the Service of Science," under the auspices of the "Wellington Philosophical Society, in the Conference Hall, Dominion. Farmers' Institute, tomorrow, at S p.m. Mr. Davies is one of the leading photographers of the Dominion, and in the course of his address will,deal with the most recent developments in the manufacture of photographic plates, and the possibilities arising from these developments. Natural colour photography, ana photography in. the regions of the spectrum beyond the range of the human vision, will also be dealt with, and effective arrangements are being made for exhibiting lantern slides which will illustrate the points of the lecture.
