(By Telegraph.)

(Special to "The Evening Post.")

DTJNEDIN, This Day. One of Duuedin's best known medical practitioners, Dr. I". Batclifte Biley, died yesterday, aged 67. Dr. Eiley qualified in London and took the degree of F.E.C.S. at Edinburgh. He came to New Zealand many years ago and practised at Winton. Later he came to Dunedin, and in 1905 was appointed honorary gynaecologist, a position he held until February of this year, when he was appointed honorary consulting gynaecologist. He was Professor of Midwifery and Gynaecology at the Medical School until this year, when he retired.

Dr. Riley had not been; well for some time, and about a fortnight ago he went under an operation. He came through the operation well, but took a bad turn on Saturday night and did not rally.
