SUCCESSFUL DANCES
MIRAMAR TENNIS CLUB
The colours of the Miramar Tennis Club decorated the interior of the Town Hall, Miramar, recently, when the first annual dance of the club was held with great success.. Excellent arrangements had been made for the entertainment of the guests, and good music and a dainty supper were provided for the hundred and sixty members and friends who were present. Messrs. Townsend, and Mrs. Townsend,. to present the cups and trophies won;by.the following members in the club's;<competitions ■ during' the:'year:—Championship events: Men's singles, J. Scott; ladies' singles, Mrs. J. Houazego; men's übles, Cooper and Cook; ladies' doubles, Mesdames Hay and -Wallace; mixed doubles, M. Wallace and Mrs. Wallace* -Handicap ... events: ; Men's singles, G. Hill; ladies' singles, Mrs. Ludlow; men's doubles, Lochore. and Hill; ladies' doubles, Mrs. Gibson and Miss Hands; mixed doubles, Tucker and Miss Christophersen.- Most, improved member, A. M.
