"UNNECESSARY DETAILS"
According to a supplied report of a general mooting of United Front members hold; last evening, it was decided to ignore the personal inquiry forms issued' by the Labour Bureau- and return 'them eh bloc. It was considered that the forms were unnecessarily detailed and probed unreasonably far into the private lives of the relief workers.and their dependants. A resolution was passed condemning police, "intimidation" on the eve of the proposed demonstration last Saturday. The meeting decided to arrange for a deputation to approach the ActingMinister of Employment with the request that relief workers should be exempted from payment of the August unemployment levy. The report adds that tbo United front financial statement, adopted by the meeting, bhowed that the movement had 1033 financial members, and 58 job delegates, while: a number of memborship books were yet to come in.< Mr. F. Koberts was .re-elected secretary.
