The committee of thei'-Victoria facing Club held a further inquiry into the identity of the horse entered and run as Gagoola. in the Kothsay Trial Stakes avJFlemihgton on Bth June, 1931, and decided that he, was the New: Zea-land-bred horae Simba. The committee /thereupon dißqualified Simba for U^e, and" the owner,"Mr. George Guest;-of Sydney, for five years.
