OFFICERS NOMINATED
j Between 800 and 900 members attended the annual meeting of the Waterside Workers' Federation held'this morning, at which the president, Mr. "F. Cox, presided. : The following nominations were' received for the executive positions for tho coming year:—President, Messrs. J. G. Bruce and El. Cox; vice-president, Mr. I/. Glover; secretary, Messrs. J. O. Johnson and J. E. Napier; treasurer, Messrs. A. Cooley and C, Henryj walking delegate, Messrs. G. Askew, E. E. Cauham and'A. Yarker' local disputes committee .(two wanted), Messrs. L. Glover, J. O. Johnsdn, J.: E. Napier, and A; E. Yarker; No. 1 section, of stevedores (two wanted)) Messrs. J. Bullon, M. Carlson, G. E. Munro, and M. J. O'Grady; No. 2 section, Messrs. W, Blaekie, J. Carr, W. H. Rose, and C. gimmonds; coal section, Messrs. A. Benson, J. H. Dunn, and C. Goodall; Harbour Board section, Messrs. J. J. Fox .and Jr Thomas; slip workers' section, Mr. J. Flack, It was decided to hold the ballot on 29th July. The balauco-shcet was adopted, as wero reports from the president, -vicepresident, secretary, and treasurer.
