Goodwin John Solomon, aged 50, married, was killed through a truck breaking loose and running down a steep lamp at the Waitald hydro-electric works this morning and striking tho deceased on the back.

At a re-hearing granted by Mr. E. Page. S.M., this afternoon a fine of £1 10s imposed on George Charles Simmiss for having an unlicensed radio set was reduced to 10s. ,
