Town Hall, also a parade of military; and returned ' soldier's. Nearly one thousand ex-servicemen paraded, the largest number for many years. The Council of Christian Congregations held a service in Knox Church in the morning, and in the evening St. Paul's Cathedral was crowded at special services.- ■•• Services were also held in suburban churches and ceremonies were held-in schools.
