WELLINGTON AND MANAWATU DRAW

The match between Wellington and Manawatu was drawn,' Wellington in their first innings made 101 runs Manawatu, who in their firsf innings had scored 191 runs, in the second made 237 Kobertson (83 not" out) was the best scorer. Bowling for Wellington, Bird took three wickets for 38 runs Hair three for 35, O'Neill two for 78 and Wareham one for 8. In their second innings Wellington had made 216 runs for the loss of four wickets when stumps were drawn. Cleave made 104 not out. He was one of the opening batsmen, and was doing as he liked with the bowling when play ended. Wareham made 61
