EXPORT TRADE IN EGGS
MARKING OF CHILLED

LONDON,, 6th February.
Agitation is proceeding among English egg brokers to compel Australian and South African eggs to be marked as chilled, as they attribute the fall in values to the heavy arrivals from those countries. .
Dominion representatives intend to protest against this proposal at the Ottawa Conference.
The British National Poultry Council is requesting the Government to prohibit the importation of Chinese frozen eggs, which are valued at over £2,000,000 per annum.
