FIRM MEAT MARKET
The Meat Board is advised from London, sth February, as follows:—"Lamb market remains firm. Consumption con^ tinues excellent for this time of year. Mutton' market: Wethers firm with good demand. Ewes, demand improving with firmer prices. Beef market: Little inquiry owing, to low prices of Argentine chilled beef. New Zealand porker pigs: Market steady, but large supplies of Home-killed continue. New Zealand baconer pigs: Nominal.
