LONDON SHEEPSKINS SALE.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following advice from their London house, dated 29th January:—"Sheepskins: Position of. the-market* as compared with preceding auctions, prices are higher about 5 per cent, for: combing merino, clothing merino, fine crossbred and crossbred lambs, others par to 5 per cent, lower. , Demand keen, catalogues well cleared. Current quotations for New Zealand sheepskins: 58-58, full-woolled sound pelts 6%d, three-quarter 5%d, half 4%d; 48-50, full-woolled sound pelts, 5%d, three-quarter 4%d, half 4%d; 44-46, fullwoolled sound pelts 4%d, three-quarter 4d, half 4d; 40's, full-woolled sound pelts 4%d, three-quarter, id, half 4d; Aorta, 2%d to 3%"d."
