RIOTS AT TSINGTAO

SHANGHAI, 13th January.

The Japanese riots were graver than was at tErsfc reported. In addition to raiding the Minkuo newspaper, rioters, over a thousand strong, set fire to the Kuomintang headquarters. The city is now_ in a state of terror. Japanese marines have been landed, and are maintaining order.

Traffic on the Pekin-Mukden railway is at a complete standstill apart from troop movements.
