DINNER AND BRIDGE
PARTY AT HERETAUNGA
A most enjoyable- party was given last evening at Herotaunga in honour of Miss Jocelyn Kiddiford by Misses Pamela Biddiford, Lesley Waller (Auckland), Car'a Johnston) and Margaret Whyte. ■■:. Preceded by a small1 dinner party at the golf house the evening commenced with a treasure hunt, which was won by Mrs. Gibson Stott. Later, tables wero arranged in the lounge for bridge, and supper was served in tho dining-room. Miss Jocelyn Biddiford wore'a floral chiffon frock. Miss Pamela Kiddiford was in black chiffon, Miss Lesley Waller, in
black chiffon; Miss •. Cara Johnston/ ■hoßfiyrcoloured. georgette- and' : Miss Margaret Whyte, lime green and yellow flor-al chiffon. .The guests included Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Biddiford (the latter wearing a frock and coatee of plumbago blue patterned chiffon), Mrs. H. Vogel (ivory georgette, heavily beaded in pastel shades), Mrs. G. W. Colbeck (blaok georgette), Mrs. F. Waller (blaeVt lace), Mrs. A. E. Whyte (black), Mrs. Harold Johnston, (black lace), Miss JMaedonald, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Williaaas, Mr- and Mrs. Gibson Stott, Mr".- anid Mrs. S. E.
