SUMMER SCHOOL
TEACHERS AT WHANGAREI
The New Zealand teachers' summer school is,now being hold afWhangarci. Teachers are present from the far North, and:as far south as Rivcrton, Southland: ■ The total number present exceeds 300, and ladies are greatly in the majority. ~ •■,•■-:■ , • On Monday evening a civic reception was tendered, to the visitors, in the Town Hall by the -Mayor of Whangarei, Mr. W. Jones. Mr. X>. M.. Ra.e,'of Auckland, president of the summer school, spoke on behalf of the teachers in returning Shanks. ' ' - Tho officers of tho summer school are as follows:—President) Mr. D. M.
