Commenting:on:therteam,' Clem Hill, former international,' stated . that ho was pleased to-sec Hunt had been given his chance. He. was a very promising left-arm bowler, a fine 'field,, and a useful-batsman. Ironmonger was. past his prime, and a Successor must be found; if possible.:- O'Eeilly impressed' him in Adelaide as a possible substitute for Griinmett later on, and his subsequent . performance '. in Melbourne strengthened that opinion. The selector? £"!"? :Wall' s ability, and were justifidd itf view of the position, in trying put another, fast bowler in thuriow. Hunt's inclusion, however,--was by far the most pleasing feature.
