The rainfall in,Dunedin for 1931 was 31.11 inches, nearly 4 inches more than the total fall for 1930.

Eain fell on 151 days last year,.as compared with 162 days in the previous year and 146 days in 1928 and 1929.

Sunshiae was^ recorded on 313 days in 1931, and the total number of hours of sunshine was 1783, as compared with 320 days and 1770 hours' sunshine in 1930.
