The unfavourable weather yesterday interrupted the progress of the Wellington lawn tennis championships on the association's courts at Miramar. The strong northerly wind of gale force was a big handicap in the morning, and this at 1 o'clock :ii the afternoon gave place to rain,. Play was then abandoned until 9 o'clock this morning.
