DEATH AFTER ACCIDENT
A waterside worker named J. Byrnes, of 29, Patanga crescent, who was knocked down by a motor-car in Customhouse quay on Thursday, later died in the Public Hospital. Byrne received slight concussion and an abrasion to his right leg, but Ms injuries did not appear serious. His condition, however, gradually became worse. He was a widower, aged 63.
Divorces are becoming much more common. In 1871 there were IG6 cases in England, Scotland, and Wales. In 1929 there were 3396.
