KEEN RACES AT AUCKLAND
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Ist. January. Keen racing was sritnessed by a large crowd at the Western Springs Speedway last evening, when T. Farndon, the English champion, and A. Mattson, the most
prominent local rider, were in fine form. The track was very fast, and some good times were made. Unfortunately, Farndon had trouble with his machine, while Mattson fell while going well in more than one race. Results are as follows:—
New Year's Handicap.—C. Goldberg, 25yds behind, 1; B. Bray, 15yds behind, 2. Ttae, lmin 26 S-ssec.
