SOUTHLAND V. NORTH OTAGO
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCAEGILL, Ist January. Owing to adverse weather conditions, the cricket match between Southland and North Otago did not commence to-day till 5.5 p.m., there being 85 minutes' play before stumps were drawn. North Otago batted, and have lost four wickets for 94 runs (Gillies 26, Brown 37).
