HOLE CUT IN GLASS

JEWELLERY STOLEN

(By Telegraph.—-Press Association.) AUCKLAND, 31st December. About £15 worth of jewellery was stolen from the display window of the Victoria Loan Company, opposite the Town Hall, Auckland, on Sunday, night or at an eary hour on Monday morning. The thief made a small hole in the glass pane and is thought to have abstracted the jewellery by means of a piece of wire inserted through the hole.
