The Minister of Cu.Btoins (the Hoin. W. D. Stewart),' who is to Jeaye New Zealand early next week with: a view to negotiating a trade agreGment with the Canadian Minister of Industries and Commerce at'Honoluln, will-be accompaniod by the Comptroller-of Customs (Dr. G. Craig), and his private secretary (Mr. T. B. Aiclcen). Miss;Stewart' will also bo a member of the party. Tho Minister-will leavß Auckland for. Honolulu by tie Niagara, ne±t Monday^, and will proceed-north on Sunday even-, ing.- The party -oxpeets to - reach Honolulu" on Christmas Day, and the negotiations will-bo commenced^as soon as possible-after that; Mr, Stewart hopes to return to.
