RELIEF WORK
IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS
"I am not satisfied that sufficient work is being found for the unemployed/ said Mr. R. A. Wright, Coalition candidate for Wellington Suburbs, at Murningtou last night. "I am not blaming the Board. I am'not blaming anybody, but I say it is-simply absurd to ask a family to live on 28s a week. The Coalition Government proposed to make some improvement in that direction. If they don't, I believe the new House will insist on something being done."
