DEATH OF MRS. CROSSE

PALMERSTO.'N N., This Day

The death lias occurred of Mrs. Elizabeth Crosse, at the age of 101. She was the widow of the late Charles Grant Crosse and was born in Essex on 18th July, IS3O. She arrived in New Zeuland in 1841.- She is survived by 7 children, 34 grandchildren, and 4S great grandchildren. On marrying Mr. Crosse she resided in Hawkes Bay, where Wr husband was engaged in farming at Waipukurau and P°rangahnu. After the death of her husband Mrs. Crosse lived at Napier, also Wanganui and Dannevjrke.
