Mr. Robert Angus, New Zealand manager for Messrs. Thos. Cook and Son, having completed 40 years in the service of the linn, is being retired on superannuation at the close of the year. The position of Auckland manager will be taken, by Mr. A. Thompson, late of Wellington, Mr. R. Clarke, from Christchurch branch, coming to Wellington, and Mr. R, Ellyctl, of Wellington, being transferred to Christchureh.
After completing 40 years in the service of Messrs. Thomas Cook, and Sou, Mr. Robert Angus, New Zealand ■manager, retires on superannuation at the end of the year, states ';'The Post's" Auckland representative. Th: position of manager in the Dominion, with headquarters at Auckland, wii? &i taken by Mr. A. Thompson, of Wellington. Mr. R. Clarke, of the Christchurch branch, will go to..Wellington, his place being taken by Mr. R. Ellyott, of Wellington. Mr. ■ Angus joined the company in. Auckland in the early years of tourist traffic in. the Dominion- He later opened branches in Wellington, Christchureh, and Dunedin, and was then transferred to Melbourne, after which he took charge. Qf the Wellington office for seven years. For the past 25 years he has' beeix man eager at Auckland.
