Miss Skorrett has returned to Wellington after a visit to the Chateau Tongariro.
Mrs. Sydney Kirkcaldie, Karori, is paying a visit to Hastings.
Mrs. Wilson, Wanganui, has come to Wellington to meet her sister, Miss Eila Bristow, who arrived in Auckland yesterday by the lonic from England. Miss Bristow and her mother will arrive in Wellington from Auckland to-morrow morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Levin, Karori, returned to Wellington last evening after a holiday visit to the Sounds.
Mrs. Robert Caughley, Kelburn, will leave this week to visit her mother, Mrs. Alfred Evans, Christehurch.
Mrs. E. J. Baldwin, with her small sou, arrived in Auckland yesterday by the lonic from England to visit her mother, Mrs. G. Bloomfield, Epsom.
Miss Cara Johnston (Hobson street) and Misjs Mac Gilmer (Lowry Bay) returned to Wellington yesterday after a holiday visit to the Sounds.
Mrs. Ross Laseelles, Christchurch, arrived in Wellington this morning en route to Wairarapa, where she will stay with Miss Phoebe Martin.
Miss A. C. Freeman will arrive in Wellington by the Rangitata from Eagland next week, and will stay with her sister, Mrs. F. R. Simms, Karori.
Mrs. Joseph Loughnan and Miss Loughnan, Lower Hutt, are the guests of Miss Anthea Loughnan, Avonside, Christchurch.
Mrs.'E. A: Le Cren arrived in Wellington this week from Sydney, and has returned to Christchurch.
Mrs. Wallis, Wellington, is visiting Auckland, and is staying at Glenalvon.
Mr. and Mrs. Hodges and Mr. F. B. Rice were Wellington visitors to Lake Wariaka recently.
Mrs. J. F. Studholme, Fendalton, Ghristchurcb, is paying- a brief visit in. tho Raetihi district.
Mrs. Alfred Nathan, Auckland, who is at present the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Brian L. ' Hewitt, Great South road, will leave by the Malolo on Ist December to visit her daughter, Mrs. Nat Madison, in Hollywood. After a four months' tour of California, Mrs. Nathah win visit her two daughters, Lady Tuck and Mrs. Lumley Frank, in England.
Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Borthwick left Wellington to-day by the Maunganui for Sydney en route to England.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Butts left Wellington to-day by the Maunganui for Sydney.
The Hon. Sir Maynard Hedstrom and Lady Iledstrom arrived in Wellington yesterday afternoon, and are staying at the Hotel St. George. Sir Maynard is a member of the Fijian Legislature, also chairman and managing director of Messrs. Morris Hedstrom and Company, Limited. Lady Hedßtrom is a nieoo of the Countess Kussell and cousin of Sir Harold Beauchamp. Sir Maynard and Lady Hedstrom have boon t making an extensive motor tour of the North Island, and will probably visit the South Island prior to their return to Suva. ■ ■
