+ The Petone Eifle Club ivill fire at 500 and boo yards at Trcntham to-morrow, the day's total (with- handicap) to be the final in the first short range series, and the .score nt the 500 yards range to make up the shoot postponed in the championship series ou 2-lth October on account of wet -weather. The Karori Defence Bifle Club will hold the second shoot of the championship series at 500 and fSOO yards. '
