LABOUR - INCONSISTENCY
. "Is Socialism. the ultimate aim of the Labour: Party?" asked Mr. G. A. Troup in.his address.last evening. "No," interjected, a member of the audience. Mr. Troup said that Mr. Walter Nash, secretary of the Labour Party, had stated that the ultimate aim of the Labour Party was Socialism; yet a recent manifesto of the Labour Party asserted that the Labour Party was in favour of assisting private enterprise. "How can you encourage private enterprise and believe in Socialism?" asked Mr. Troup. -
