In the draw for the Irish Free Stato Hospitals' sweepstakes en the Manchester November Handicap Plate, of 1500 soys., 1J miles, to be run at Manchester on 2Sth November, the following horses were drawn by persons resident in New Zealand:— Summer Princess, by Mrs. Jessie Evans, Chaucer street, Timaru. Redeswood, by A. Long, 211, Whitaker street, Gisborne. Bonny Boy 11., by W. Eeilly, Tangarakau. Codicil, by R T. Taylor, Moxham avenue, Wellington. The total proceeds of the sweep are £2,941,852, of which the prize money amounted to £1,942,164.
