ECONOMY

GEEYMOUTH, 18th Nov. ■ Mr. •J. W; Greeiislade, official Coalition candidate for Westland, addressed a meeting at Greymouth to-night. He "stated "that" he' stood for economy," stability, and confidence. His speech was devoted mainly to a criticism of Labour, especially the New South Wales Administration. Ho cited the election results as proof of the Labour failure in Britain. Mr. Holland's suggestion to raise over a period of years 27 millions for rehabilitation was criticised. While he had no great programmo to put forward, Mr. Greenslade said he stood strongly for economy. After many questions were answered, the candidate was accorded a vote of thanks.
