WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
The Keikiorangi Schuol Hall presented a very gay scene recently wlien tJic final social and dance organised by the social committee of tho Women's Institute was held. Group competitive games were much enjoyed, each group being presented .with different coloured paper hats. Two one-act plays, "Sarah Jane's Night Out" and "Which Is It?" were well performed by Misses M. Campion, F. Kent, V. Meyer, E. and M. Thompson, and Messrs. C. Meyer and L. Cudby. Miss N. Laurenson (with Miss M. Stubbings at tho piano) led community singing of many old favourites. After supper, which was provided by the women of the institute, dancing took place. Confetti, etreame-rs, and novelty prizes added much to tho festive spirit of the evening, which was concluded by the singing of "Auld Lang Syne."
