SPACE IN HANSARD
One of the questions addressed to Mr. G. A. Troup last evening was whether he would favour a plan to allow members of Parliament a fixed number of columns in "Hansard" each session, additional space taken to be paid for by the members concerned, the underlying idea being that the time wasted on discussing irrelevant points would be saved. Mr. Troup said that he thought it a first rate idea; in fact, it might be a good thing if Hansard was done away with altogether.
