TESTING A NEW BOMBER

United Press Associatiou—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Ecceived 31st October, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 30th October. JFlying Officers 11.I1. E. Maekby and I*. M'Hardy were killed at Bullwoll. They were New Zealanders and belonged to the Nottingham bomber squadron, and wore stationed at the training school at Grantluun. They wero testing a new type of bomber.

Flying-OJlicer L. M'Hardy was the youngest son of the late Mr. L. H. M'Hardy, of Blackhead, Waipawa, and his mother now lives in Waipawa, He was in the early twenties. His brother, Mr. Alee M'Hardy 3 now has the Blackhead station, and it was an uncle, Mr. P. A. M' Hardy, who donated land for Massey College at Palmerston North.
