' (Received 30th October, 2 p.m.) VICTORIA, 29th October. Following the Imperial Conference proposals, Mr. Tolmie, Premier of British Columbia, declared that British Columbia would begiu to prepare at once representations for greater'trade with the Dominions, particularly Australia and the United Kingdom. It is likely that material British preferences will be proposed.
