A BORROWED CAR
Charged in the Petone Police Court yesterday with having converted a car to his own use, but not ko as to be guilty o£ theft, Haydn Charles William Greening, aged 21, a labourer, of Moera, xj'eaded guilty and was couvicted and fined £1. Messrs. A. Anderson and A. Coles, J.P.s, said that he would not have been treated so leniently but for the fact that he had returned the car to where he took it from (md that lie was a young man earning only 10s a week.
