Conditions continued ideal for the afternoon rounds of the one-day tournament at the iSeatoun yrccn yesterday, and under the hot. him the greens speeded up considerably. The final, between Bell (Sealoun) and Barker (Newtown), was a splendid content, Bell winning on an extra head. Nine beads wen: played in the sections, live in post-sections, and 15 in the final. The results of the fifth round were ac follows: — Section A.--Roberts 11, M.'Girr 11; Jones 11, Gordon 6; licll 10, Sexton 4; Wells 17, Duncan 2. Section IS.—Barnett, S. Wright 7: M'Farlano It, Smith !); Watt 11, Nalder S: Barker !l, Bradley 4. Bell and Wells qualified for the semifinal in section A. with four wins each, and Watts and Barker in section B with five wius each. Bell beat Wells 6-1, and Barker beat Watt.s 6-5, leaving Bell and j Barker to play the final. Post-section play was completed at 4.30 p.m.. and it was decided to play the final straight away. Both rinks played good bowls, and on the last bead stood even, Ll all. In the extra head Seatoun scored a single and won the tournament, the final score being: Nicoll, Asher, Wyatt, Bell (Seatoun), 10; Hansen, Carman, Warwick, Barker (Newtown), 9.
