PUDLIC NOTICES. WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the. Wellington City Council held on tlie 20th October, IU"'l, the following resolution was passed: —The Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order the following Bylaw under and by virtue of and in exercise and in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in it by "The Municipal Corporations Act 1920" and "The Slaughtering and Inspection Act 1908" and their respective Amendments and "The Wellington City Abattoir Charges and Renewal Fund Act lOlfi" and of all other powers iind autli'irities enabling it in that behalf. The short title of this Bylaw is "The Wellington City Bylaw (Abattoir) Amendment 1031"' 'The object and purport of the Bylaw are:—t. To fix the charges for use of Abattoir, slaughtering, housing, yarding, and paddocking of: —fl) Largo cattle. (2) Sheep an' Lambs. (3) Pigs as under:— s. d. (a) For every head of large, cattle. To fix the fees to be charged for meat sold in the City of Wellington for stock that has been slaughtered at licensed Meat Export slaughter-houses or any abattoir other than the City Abattoir as' follows:— Large cattle 2s 2d, Calves Is 3?id, Sheep arid Lambs 3%d, Pigs Is .6%d, and to repeal the existing fees and charges. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council to be held on Thursday the 10th November 1931, at the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba street, Wellington, at S o'clock p.m. A full copy of the said Bylaw is deposited at the office of the Town Clerk to the said Council and may be inspected by all persons during ordinary office hours.
