It has been decided that the annual "Rose Day" appeal will be held on Friday, 6th November, and.for the purpose of completing arrangements, a meeting of workers will be. hold at the R.S.A. tearooms, 12, Brandon street, at 8 p.m. tomorrow. This year more than ever oivins to the economic conditions a good response to the appeal is desired. In addition to the Benevolent Fund of . the R.S.A., the St. John Ambulance! Association. Red Cross Society, South African Veterans' Association, and ' the War Oravea Section of the Women's National Reserve will. aJso.receive", a share of the proceeds. - A large, number of workers are wanted, and any ladies who can help on "Rose Day" are invited" to be present to-morrow night.
