SCOTS COLLEGE

CROSS-COUNTRY RUNS

Ideal weather prevailed for the Scots College junior and senior crosscountry runs. There was a record field for both events,, and the courses were excellent for crosscountry running, being of a hilly nature, with plenty of natural obstacles, such as scrub, hill, and valleys, with a short run of flat country. The senior course was approximately three and a half miles, and the junior course two and a half miles. There was a large attendance of parents and friends. Results: — Senior (Tclford Cup):—Holt, time ;)2min, 1; Cathie, 32miu 25see, 2; Campbell, 33min oscc, 3. Junior (Parents' Association Cup):— Brown, time 25min 25acc, 1; Matthews, 25min 35 l-sscc, 2; M. A. Flipp, 2omin 55see, 3. __^^^_^_^___
