(Received 13th October, 9 a.m.) BERLIN, 12th October. _ To cseapo the consequences of nis startling attack on the Reichsbank, Dr. Schacht fled to Italy. The Berlin Press did not publish the text of the speech, but it is plain that Schacht condemned the Reichsbank as bankrupt, and accused the management of publishing falsified reports. The newspapers _ describe Schacht as an economic traitor, and demand his arrest.
