HARD COURTS CLUB
The following conditions have been drawn up by the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association to be submitted to the Hard Courts Club at Miramar, the matter being discussed at last evening's meeting of the Association: — (1) The sum of £25 per court per annum to be paid, half by 30th October, and half by 31st December, 1931; (2) for every 30 members or part thereof one court must be hired, no other courts to be used except those allocated; (3) the agreement to be reviewed annually; (4) the club must affiliate; (5) any damage must be ■made good; (6) the courts to be allocated by the management committee of the association; (7) no'structure to be erected on the courts without special permission. Conditions for those who desire associate membership have also been drawn up. The position is that the Hard Courts Club must pay the difference between the! total of the subscription plus the affiliation fee and the ordinary Miramar grounds fee. It was stated at the meeting that no special function will mark the opening of the grass courts at Miramar for the season. . ■ The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Assoeia-1 tion advised that entries for. the Anthony. Wilding Shield will close on Bth December. The matter was held over for consideration. j
