Northern Union football results are as follows:— Lancashire Cup, first round. —Broughton lust to Wigan, 8-13; Oldhara and Barrow drew, 13 points each; Salford defeated St. Helens, 16-5; Warrington defeated St. ! Helens Recs, 11-2; Wigan Highfield and 'Leigh drew, 7 points: each; Widnes defeated Rochdale, 10-3. Yorkshire Cup, first round.—Bradford lost to Huddersfield, 5-11; Batley lost to Leeds, 4-24; Hull Kingston defeated Wakefield, G-2; Hunslet defeated Bramley, 50-11; York defeated Halifax, 3-0; Castleford lost to Dewsbury. 4-12; Hull defeated Keighley. 33-7.
