(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") DUNEDIN, This Day. A meeting of the Otago Centre, Royal Life-saving Society, considered a letter from tho New Zealand Council favouring' the idea and sending a team to Sydney for the opening of tho Hai--bour Bridge, at the celebrations of which a surf champiouship is to bo held. It was decided to advise the council that the centre considered tho ! present time inopportune to send a team to Sydney.
