RUGBY FINALS
TO-MORROW'S -ATTRACTIONS.
The local ;senior A grade Rugby football championship competition is due to terminate to-morrow afternoon, arid, in view of the fact that four teams are still concerned in settling the issue, very keen interest is being .shown in the main fixtures of the final series. At the present time Hutt leads Wellington by a point, with Poneke close at hand. Hutt's task tomorrow will be to defeat Marist, a team which has been upsetting calculations all along the line. This game is to be played at Athletic Park, and it promises to be one of the most stirring of the season. ' 'A win to Marist -will throw a greater importance upon the contest between Wellington and Poneke, to take place at Newtown Park, as in that case a win by Wellington would deprive Hutt of the championship. In the event 'of Poneke and Marist both winning, Hutt and Poneke would be level at the head of the championship. The whole position is intensely interesting, and there will-be great battles for final' honours to-morrow afternoon. The Wellington A and Marist juniors will provide the curtain-raiser at Athletic Park, M..rist being the championship leaders.
