O'Sullivan ha" pleaded guilty in' the Magistrate's Court to being an incorrigible rogue in that he had no .visible'means of support. • ■ '. : ■ 1 • Senior-Sergeant Edwards said that the accused came to Wellington on Thursday last, and was 'arrested for drunkenness* that nighi. On-the following day he was' begging in the streets, and asked a constable in plain clothes for 25.; The constable warned the accused of the consequences of such conduct.' Early, yesterday morning the' accused was found wandering around.the streets. He said he had no money and nowhere to go, and for his own sake he was locked up. . O'Sullivan told the Magistrate that he arrived here with a cheque for £12 odd, but had none of it left. He had a gob to go to in Masterton. . " Mr. Woodward convicted the accused and ordered him to come up for sentenqe if called upon within six months. "You understand you must get out of the town right away, or you'll be'brought up and get three months' imprisonment," he told, the accused.
