GIFTS ACKNOWLEDGED
During the past month many valuable contributions have been made to the Wellington Free Kindergarten, and the council and staff thank all who have assisted' in. this way. Special thanks are due to Mr. Wardell, Fletcher Construction Co., Cook s Cooperage, for butter boxes and, small -kegs; the Technical College, for odd wood; "Evening Post/ white paper; Mrs. Gell and Salmond and Spraggon, firing; Mrs. Lodder, curtains; Mrs. Young, £1 for. milk; Mrs. Lockie, milk tokens; Mrs. P. Nathan, cocoa; Mrs. Quinn; ten bags coal;; Mrs. Henry Hall, clothing; Mrs. M'Laren. The co-operation of the St. John's Church Sewing-Guild, in the provision of warm clothing, has been greatly appreciated* Many smaller gifts have been > reported, for which the council tenders . mncera thanks. ■
